Fortunately, we are all amateurs in death. We only live once and die one day – and probably each of us has a loved one we care for. In the realm of death, there is no training, no learning process. And yet structures, traditions and the illusion of necessity continue to determine how we die, mourn, lament and experience sadness. With curiosity and open bodies, we explore how grief and farewell might unfold through an untamed female presence. In doing so, we aim to challenge conventional norms and create a space for political mourning – raw, wild and unique.
